Worship Folder - October 4, 2009GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST Pastor Clint K. Poppe*Pastor Lance D. Berndt STATEMENT OF COMMUNION PRACTICE Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, and are unable to receive the Sacrament are invited to meditate on God’s Word in the distribution hymns and pray for the day when divisions will have ceased.
