We have many and varied opportunities for Bible Study here at Good Shepherd:
SUNDAY:
SUMMARY OF CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE: Come and review the basics of the Lutheran faith as taken from God’s Word. Pastor Berndt began a new series of classes on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Each Sunday is a separate topic and deals with the Biblical foundations for each (ie. The Lord’s Supper, Prayer, etc.). This class meets between worship services in the sanctuary at 9:30 am Sunday.
I CORINTHIANS BIBLE STUDY: I Corinthians is a letter from St. Paul to the congregation at Corinth addressing some of the divisive issues within the body of believers there. Many of these same issues exist today. This class meets in the fellowship hall at 9:30 am.
YOUTH BIBLE STUDY: This class is for youth in grades 9-12 . Meet in the youth room on the upper level at 9:30 am.
TUESDAY:
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The 6am men’s Tuesday morning Bible study is currently focusing their study on the Epistles of St. John. All men are invited to come and begin your day with coffee, prayer and the WORD. Room 109.
WEDNESDAY:
This study will be held on Wednesday before the worship service (5:30 - 6:15 pm) in the fellowship hall.Hear what James has to say about how our faith affects our daily lives. This group is taking a break for Lent and will resume after Easter.
THURSDAY:
1pm This study will focus on Law & Gospel. What is the purpose of each? How do we need each of these in our lives? This class will conclude at 2:30 pm.
FRIDAY:
Volunteers meet at 9 am to fold bulletins, help with other projects at Good Shepherd and have a short Bible study afterwards in the fellowship hall.
