Description: The Elders attend to the spiritual life of the congregation and its members. The nature of the duties of this ministry requires that only men noted for their Christian knowledge, zeal, and experience in the spiritual work of the Kingdom of Christ shall serve as Elders. Their focus involves the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of the staff; visitation of members; all matters pertaining to worship; church discipline and the overall ministry of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
